Uzumé Wild Game Dinner
Y6,000 per person (no minimum charge)
A meat-lovers meal! The Uzumé wild game menu is put together by Hamish (the owner) and local gourmet, Lawrence. Dishes vary depending on the day and season. A typical meal may include Uzumé home made charcuterie, gibier pâté on crackers, local artisanal mozzarella, home made sausages, a roast, mashed potato, vegetables or salad, fruit and dessert. All wild game meat is sourced locally, butchered and prepared on-site in approved facilities. Enjoy your meal with some of our excellent wines, sake and beer (see list in guidebook). We will leave you to dine in privacy after serving you the main course. We ask guests to wash their own dishes and clean up after the meal.
Catering - Japanese Kaiseki
Y8,000 per person (minimum charge of Y20,000)
Local caterers, Yumiko and Tetsuji Kimura, provide a multi-course Kaiseki-style treat using mostly locally sourced produce. If you have any special requests please let us know at the time of your reservation as they would be happy to tailor the meal to your requirements. Please note that certain requests such as local crayfish or wagyu beef may incur an extra charge. The Kimuras will be serving all dishes, and also clean and wash up at the end of the meal. Ahead of your dinner we shall provide you with Uzumé home made charcuterie, gibier pâté and other delicacies depending on the day. Enjoy your meal with some of our excellent wines, sake and beer. The minimum charge of Y20,000 will apply for parties of one or two people. In such cases Yumiko will increase the quality of the food by including some higher priced produce in order to compensate.
